Welcome

Gorse Covert Community Centre

Welcome to the Gorse Covert Community Centre (GCCC) website. GCCC is a vibrant community centre based in Loughborough, a university town in the East Midlands region of the UK. The centre was established in 1981 and is a popular venue for a wide range of activities.

We work with local people of all ages to deliver activities and opportunities that are relevant and meaningful to them.

Our friendly and welcoming community coffee bar serves affordable breakfast cobs, lunches, light refreshments, delicious home-made cakes and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

We also have an enclosed, accessible garden. It is a great space for people to sit and read with a cup of something from our coffee bar. We see it as an extension of our Garden room โ€“ an area people really enjoy. It can be hired with the Garden room for children’s parties and events.

Our spaces are ideal for local businesses, clubs and organisations to run training, meetings and networking events, health and wellbeing classes, art events and more.

Contact us on 01509 843752.

Lovely friendly community centre - clean and welcoming. Super home cooked food at low prices in the cafe. Busy and popular with a wide variety of activities. Room hire is really reasonable. Can't fault it.

I visit here with my son for autism stay and play groups and he just loves the garden and free flow to the room we are using. The only reason I've taken a star off is because the kitchen is so expensive. To be able to keep hot water facilities away from a group of children with special needs would be ideal but the lady who runs our group has adapted wonderfully.

My experience was really good. The food excellent and freshly made. All cakes baked on premises too. Lovely coffee. Friendly competent and caring staff. The facilities were very clean and everything was tidy. The conference rooms were well equipped and there were plenty of staff. Over three days I was we looked after.
